Garment-Exchange.com is a fresh startup in the fashion industry. We are the first community driven peer-to peer marketplace that allows women nationwide to rent their clothing. We not only match women by style, size and body type, but we cultivate community by allowing women to personally connect through their unique styles and personalities.

 

ABOUT WORKING HERE

This is an extremely fast-paced environment and is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and get involved in a fashion tech business. Self-motivation is a must, all positions are responsible for maintaining constant documentation. Must be proficient using Apple computer, Google Docs, Dropbox, Current Social Media Platforms and have an understanding of WordPress. We are looking for a high level of creativity & attention-to-detail.

PR Development Intern

As a fall intern for Garment Exchange, you will play an integral role in developing the brand. As a growing startup, it is an exciting time to work with the team to develop a cohesive and strong brand voice through social as a cohesive team.

The internship will tentatively last from January 23rd to April 3rd (10 weeks) and is unpaid. (Although it has it’s perks!) You will be expected to work 10-12 hours/week and attend a weekly team meeting. At the end of the 10 weeks, we’ll provide you with a reference letter, course credit (if needed), invaluable insight into a fashion-tech business, and great networking opportunities in fashion, tech, small business & startups.

Communications Intern

Brand Ambassador Remote Internship Program

Through this experience, you will have the opportunity to be involved with the growth of an Austin based company in the fashion/tech industry. Grow your marketing skills and gain experience in the innovative and fast paced tech-fashion industry. Work remotely with minimal time commitment and have access to direct communication and mentorship with GX execs. Through this position, you will gain insight into what it means to be a successful female entrepreneur through exclusive guest visits from the cofounders of GX and various established entrepreneurs.
